Tuesday 6-17 - Center fountain is taken apart and old brick form removed. TOP

Wednesday 6-18 - New brick form is installed in center fountain. First one was substandard, they were using bricks and mortar to fill the center. HOA President Roger Keranen had them tear it down and rebuild it to meet strength requirements. It is to be a brick and mortar form with 4000psi concrete in the center for strength and stability. Thursday 6-19 - Center fountain's concrete base is poured, fountain assembled and leveled. Masonry work performed around front fountains to replace loose or broken bricks. Extensive brick work was required on the NW front (left when entering the neighborhood) when they were found to be in a bed of sand and not concrete as earlier thought. Work is still to be done around the ledge to replace missing bricks in picture 5. All masonry should be done on Friday 6-20 with sandblasting and painting to begin Monday June 23. TOP

Friday 6-20 - All masonry looks complete on Friday 6-20. Workers completed repair of the ledge on the NW front (left entering subdivision). All three pools are cleaned out and ready for next week. Hillside workers cleaned up around all three fountains removing the debris that was left behind in Thursday's pictures. They did a great job today considering that it rained the vast majority of today. TOP

Thursday 6-26 - Power washing began on Wednesday 6-25 after waiting for the newly poured concrete and mortar to properly cure. The remaining restoration process includes the following steps:

    1. Pressure wash
    2. Scrub with muriatic acid and rinse
    3. Wash again with trisodium-phosphate powder and rinse
    4. Let dry for 48-72 hours
    5. Paint
    6. Let dry for 4-5 days depending on the weather if it rains it will be longer
    7. Fill fountains with water and turn them on

Saturday 6-28 - Cleaning continues. TOP

Wednesday 7-2 - Painting of the fountains and basins was done today. All that is left is a little touch up work on the center fountain. The paint must dry for 4-5 days, but we will have to add a day for each day of rain to allow for proper drying. The paint must be completely dry before turning on the fountains or we risk undoing a lot of hard work. TOP

Tuesday 7-15 - The fountains are complete and were turned on today. TOP
